Please plan on attending the Smugglers’ Notch Ski & Snowboard Club’s sign-up day on Sunday, Sept. 13 anytime between noon and 4 p.m. at the SNSC Clubhouse at the base of the T-Bar at Smugglers’ Notch Resort.
Some other things you should know about our open house:
* This date is the deadline for the absolute lowest prices on programs for the 2009-10 season.
* Program fees have not increased over last year.
* Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the clubhouse or the great outdoors.
* Sign up for volunteer responsibilities at October’s Ski & Board sale.
* While this date is not a ski swap, please either make up a poster or add to the SNSC blog any equipment for athletes you’d like to sell to a club member for the coming season. GS suits? Race skis? Helmets? Please let us know what gear you might have that other SNSCers might find helpful. Bring them in you car if you’d like (we just can’t leave it at the clubhouse)
* You can mail in your program registrations, too. Updated forms will soon be on www.snscvt.com
* This is doubling as an open house, so if you know folks who are curious about what we do, bring ‘em on up!

Storing gear
We'd like to ask for your help in assuring that storage priority is given to the 100 or so athletes enrolled in our competition programs. Our goal is to provide all the resources possible to these athletes to compliment their program.
In the equipment storage area first priority will be given to athletes competing at the highest levels and to our youngest athletes. This assures that the equipment needed by athletes at the higher levels is readily accessible to them, and helps the younger athletes with the challenge of managing gear.
In general, storage priority is given to:
1) All 2,3,4-day athletes. 2) Ski Meister, Ridemeister and J5-6 athletes. 3) J4, 1-day athletes. 4) Alpine Freeride, Snowboard Freeride. 5) J1,2,3 1-day athletes. 6) General membership. (should avoid storing more than one item).
Please remember to label your gear with your name.
